NIA’s Gangster Suppression Campaign: Raid in 60 locations across India

According to the 'NIA' report, Neeraj Serawat alias Neeraj Bawana and his gang are involved in 'targeted killing' of celebrities and creating terror through social media

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided 60 locations across India today to crack down on ‘gangsters‘ and ‘crime syndicates’. Among the said 60 places are the national capital Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab.

The Delhi Police’s ‘Special Cell’ has registered an FAR in the ‘Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act’ (UAPA) based against 10 gangsters belonging to the ‘Lawrence Bisnoi Gang’, ‘Bambia Gang’ and ‘Neeraj Bawana Gang’. Investigation has been initiated.

The above action has been taken a day after Director General of Punjab Police Gaurav Yadav said that the gangsters arrested in the Sidhu Musewala murder case had close links with the terrorist organization.

According to the ‘NIA‘ report, Neeraj Serawat alias Neeraj Bawana and his gang are involved in ‘targeted killing’ of celebrities and creating terror through social media.

Besides, recently Neeraj Bawna and his gang are involved in a gang war with Lawrence Bisnoi. Soon after Punjabi singer-politician Sidhu Musewala was killed, Neeraj Bawna announced that they would take action against the Lawrence Bisnoi gang to avenge the death of the singer.

The NIA is also raid on gangs operating from jails in India and abroad.
