New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is in controversy. A special court in Bengaluru has ordered a case against Sitharaman on charges of extortion through electoral bonds.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was accused of such a case by some people on behalf of the People’s Rights Struggle Association. Later, the Special Court of Public Representation in Bengaluru ordered the case against Sitharaman. Because of this, he is now said to be in trouble.

Based on the order of the court, the Tilak city police will now file a case against Sitharaman and others with him. Electoral bonds are one way of donating money to political parties. The conflict between the government and the opposition continues over this. A case is also going on in the Supreme Court.
