London: One of the sons of slain al-Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden has claimed that he tested chemical weapons on his dogs.
The fourth son of Osama Bin Laden , Omar, said in an interview with The Sun newspaper during a visit to Qatar, his father was training me to follow in his footsteps. As a child in Afghanistan, he taught me how to use a gun and used chemical weapons on dogs. I am trying to forget the bad times I spent with my father.
41-year-old Omar, who currently lives in Normandy, France with his wife Zaina, added that he chose me as the successor to his work, his father used to say. However, he left Afghanistan in April 2001, months after which the New York attacks took place on September 11.
I said ‘goodbye’ and he said ‘goodbye’. We parted from each other. There were many experiences in the world like that. “He expressed displeasure that I was going out of his way,” he said.
He added, “I saw my father’s loyalists use chemical weapons on my dog.” I felt very bad. I am trying to forget all those bad times. Life is hard like that. One has to face difficulties all the time.
Currently, Omar is an artist and a canvas with his artwork is selling for 8,500 British Pounds.
