Pakistan will buy oil from Russia at the price India is getting
Notably, in 2020-21, Pakistan was the world's 35th crude oil importer. That year, Pakistan imported crude oil worth $1.92 billion.
New Delhi: Pakistan’s Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, who is on an official visit to the United States, said that if the prices offered by India are implemented, Pakistan is also ready to buy fuel from Russia.
Pakistan is currently dealing with the effects of floods. Therefore, if our country buys fuel at a discounted price, there will be no problem in the West, he said.
It should be noted that the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan was in Moscow on the day Russia attacked Ukraine. At this time, the United States also disapproved of his visit to Russia. After being deposed, Imran Khan always blamed America for this. Moreover, he praised India for not bowing to pressure from other countries and reaching an agreement with Russia to buy fuel at discounted prices.
