Pakistan’s new army chief threatened India with imminent war

Islamabad: Asim Munir has threatened India with war just a few days after taking charge as Pakistan’s new army chief. He said that if India attacks, Pakistan will not only defend itself, but will take the war to India.

Munir on Saturday visited the Line of Control (LoC) for the first time after taking charge as the Pakistan’s new army chief on November 29 and reviewed the preparedness of the Pakistan Army. On the occasion of this visit, he said that the irresponsible comments of some Indian leaders in relation to POK and Gilgit Baltistan have come before him.
