Kyiv: Last December, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited America. On this occasion, the United States announced the delivery of the powerful Patriot missile system to Ukraine. According to this announcement, the training of Ukrainian soldiers will start from next week.
According to the Pentagon, about 100 Ukrainian soldiers will be trained to operate the Patriot missile system at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The training will start from next week. Fort Sill is one of the four major training centers of the United States Army and houses the Artillery Training School.
After giving the Patriot system to Ukraine, the US has become openly involved in the Russia-Ukraine war. As this missile defense system is the most powerful missile system in the world, it will increase the capability of Ukraine and protect important areas of Ukraine from Russian missile attacks.
On the other hand, it will create problems for Russia. But experts are skeptical about whether it can stop Russia’s latest hypersonic missiles.
