Kolkata: Kolkata police have issued a look-out notice against suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma. She had previously been asked to appear at the Amhurst and Narkeldanga police stations. However, she was not immediately available for comment. Nupur flatly refused to appear, while so many charges were filed against her at about 10 police stations in Kolkata. For this reason, the police have now issued a lookout notice against him.
Earlier, the Supreme Court had lashed out at Nupur. The apex court said Nupur and his statement had set the country on fire. Only Nupur is responsible for the situation in the country. The apex court ruled that she should apologize to her country men for the inconvenience.
Nupur had appealed to the Supreme Court to transfer all the case to Delhi. She appealed because her life was in danger. However, the bench of Justices Suryakant and JB Pardiwala dismissed Nupur’s appeal.
