Cuttack: 63rd Police Martyrs Memorial Day has been observed at Cuttack Police Headquarters. DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal was the chief guest on the occasion. All senior police officers were present. The DGP gave his speech after reading the message of the Governor and the Chief Minister for the Martyr Police. The DGP expressed his condolences to the family of the martyred police.
High-ranking police officers were present and placed garlands at the Shaheed memorial pillar. A gun salute was fired and tributes were paid to the martyred police personnel. On this occasion, the Director General of Police praised the role of Odisha Police in Maoist suppression.
