Rajnath Singh named the horse ‘Tejas’, which was received as a gift from the President of Mongolia

A special gift from our special friend in Mongolia, Rajnath Singh tweeted along with a picture of the gifted white horse. This exceptionally beautiful horse has been named 'Tejas'. Thank you President Khurelsukh. Thanks also to Mongolia.

Ulaanbaatar: India’s first Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who visited Mongolia, was gifted a magnificent horse by the Mongolian President today.

It is to be remembered that, less than 7 years ago, when the Prime Minister of India visited Mongolia, he received a horse as a gift from the Mongolian President. During Modi’s memorable visit in 2015, Mongolia’s Prime Minister Chimediin Saikhanbileg gifted him a brown ‘race horse’.

On Tuesday, India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh met Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh to review bilateral strategic cooperation.We are fully committed to further strengthening our multilateral strategic partnership with Mongolia.

Notably, to expand India’s strategic and defense ties with Mongolia and Japan, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has gone on a 5-day visit to Mongolia and Japan from Monday. He will be visiting Mongolia from September 5 to 7.
