New Delhi: Blaming Ukraine for the explosion on the Krach bridge connecting Russia and Crimea, on Monday, Russia rained missiles on various cities of Ukraine, including the capital city of Kyiv.
The Ukrainian army said that Russia fired 84 cruise missiles at them. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also accused Russia of launching a large number of missiles and Iranian-made drones.
According to Rostislav Smirnov, an adviser to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, one of the missiles fired over Kyiv killed at least eight people and injured 24 others.
Ukrainian General Valerii Zaluzhnyi said that the terrorist country Russia has launched a large-scale missile, aircraft and drone attack inside Ukraine. 41 of them were shot down by our Air Defence.
Ukraine’s emergency services said, from Lviv in the west to Kharkiv in the east, about 100 civilians were injured in the early morning attacks by water, land and air raids on 14 areas.
The head of Ukraine’s law enforcement said that 70 infrastructures were destroyed in the Russian attack. 29 of them are important.
Ukrainian President Zelensky said, “Russia has launched 84 cruise missiles and 24 drones.” Out of them, the Ukrainian army has killed 56.
Russian President Vladimir Putin also said, according to the plans of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff, this morning, Ukraine’s forces, military command and communication systems were attacked with targeted and long-range weapons.
