Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan has been seen dancing on social media wearing a tribal costume to celebrate the election of Draupadi Murmu’s NDA presidential candidate.
He also wrote on Twitter that he was happy with the party’s central leadership in selecting Murmu as its presidential candidate. In a tweet, Chief Minister Chauhan wrote: “I thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the national leadership for making the beloved Draupadi Murmu a candidate for the presidency.”
According to the latest information, Draupadi Murmu, the presidential candidate who arrived in Delhi on Thursday and is staying at the Odisha Bhavan, left today to file his nomination papers in the security system.
According to sources, his candidacy was prepared at the residence of Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Yoshi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior ministers Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah, BJP national president and many prominent leaders including J.P. Nadda, have nominated Murmu. All the proposers went to Yoshi’s residence and signed the papers.
