Shoaib Akhtar has undergone double knee surgery in Melbourne, Australia

New Delhi: Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar is currently in Australia and is undergoing knee surgery there. Shoaib Akhtar shared a video from his hospital bed and gave a message to his fans. “He is in a lot of trouble right now and needs the prayers of his fans” he said.

46-year-old Shoaib Akhtar shared his video on Instagram. Shoaib Akhtar in Melbourne, Australia has undergone double knee surgery. He said in his video that he hopes this will be his last surgery.

Shoaib Akhtar said, I had a 5-6 hour surgery on both knees, I am in trouble. Need your prayers. Still in trouble after 11 years of retirement. I could have played for 4-5 more years. I know if I do, I will spend the rest of my life in a wheelchair. But whatever I have done, I have done it for Pakistan and I will do it again if I get a chance. After retiring from cricket, Shoaib Akhtar is very active in commentary and his YouTube channel.
