Sunil Chhetri is the captain of the Indian football team. The player, who made his debut for Team India in 2005, still has magic on his feet. He is able to score against any team on the field. In his 17 year long career, he has scored 84 goals in 129 international matches. In addition, it has been rated as India’s best goal scorer. Even his name is now lower than that of Argentina’s Lionel Messi and Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo. Sunil Chhetri is the third best goal scorer among current footballers.

With one goal against Hong Kong, Chhetri has made his name in the list of the top five goal scorers in the world. He has scored 140 goals so far for various clubs. He played for Kansas City Wizards in 2010 and for Sporting Club Portugal in 2012.
