New Delhi: Prime Minister Modi wants to do the right thing for India, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Modi, who is on a 3-day visit to the United States of America, met Elon Musk at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel yesterday. “It was a wonderful discussion,” Musk told reporters. Actually Prime Minister Modi cares about India. He is encouraging us to invest significantly in India. He is also very open and supportive of new companies. I am a big fan of Modi. India has a reputation for solar energy investment. We hope to bring ‘Starlink’ internet to India.
Musk also said, “I am very enthusiastic about the future of India.” I think India is more committed than any major nation in the world. Efforts have begun for ‘Tesla India’. I strongly believe that Tesla will go to India as soon as possible. A formal announcement will be made in this regard soon.
Besides, I am also interested in visiting India, said Musk.
