Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Mumbai on Tuesday afternoon to attend the Investor Conference to be held at the Trident Hotel in Mumbai on the 14th. While the Chief Minister is on a three-day visit to Mumbai, on this occasion he will meet and discuss with some prominent entrepreneurs including Aditya Birla Group Chief Kumar Mangalam Birla, Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal and invite them to participate in the Make-in Odisha Conference to be organized in Bhubaneswar from November 30 to December 4. In addition, they will discuss what kind of cooperation will be provided if they invest in Odisha.

Similarly, the Chief Minister is scheduled to ring the opening bell of the Bombay Stock Exchange on the morning of the 15th. There is a tradition of ringing the opening bell before the start of trading when the Bombay Stock Exchange opens every morning at 9 am. Trading starts here 15 minutes after the bell rings.

It is to be noted that the Make-in Odisha program has not been held for the last two years due to the covid, while the investments in the state have not been made according to all the promises made by the capitalists to the state government in the previous program. Therefore, the state government has made vigorous preparations to make the third edition of Make-in-Odisha a success and to invest as promised. After holding investor conferences in Dubai, Delhi and Ahmedabad, the state government is going to hold this conference in Mumbai.

Before the Chief Minister’s visit, senior officials including Industries Minister Pratap Dev, Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra, Industries Secretary Hemant Sharma have visited Mumbai and are preparing for the programme. The Chief Minister is scheduled to return to Bhubaneswar on the afternoon of the 15th.
