Elon Musk Changes Blue Tick Subscription Plans, Know Why
New Delhi/ Twitter : Twitter’s Blue Tick to be re-launched has been put on hold by the company’s owner Elon Musk for now. It will be issued after the company is sure that it is really effective in taking action against fake accounts. People will now have to wait for the Blue Tick paid subscription.
Musk recently announced that the Blue Tick subscription plan will begin on November 29. Musk made a different announcement on Monday, making it clear that it will take longer to launch.
Notably, Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, said that the verification process of the ‘platform’, which connects the ‘blue tick’ in front of the ‘profile name’, is being renewed after a Twitter user complained that he was deprived of the prestigious ‘blue tick’ despite having a huge following. Musk then announced that the company would soon start charging users. The Blue Tick Paid subscription plan was to be launched from the 29th, paying $8.
