Patna, 24.8: Mahament government has been formed in Bihar. Today is the trial by fire of the Nitish-Tejashwi Mahament government. The Mahament government has to conduct a majority vote test in the Bihar Assembly. Speaker Vijay Kumar Sinha has resigned from his post after addressing the assembly. Vijay Sinha said in his speech in the assembly, he was elected as the speaker of the house by majority vote, but the current political situation is not in my favor, so I am resigning from my post. He said, situation and time are two important things in democracy.

BJP MLA from Lakhisarai, Vijay Sinha said, “Some MLAs brought a no-confidence motion against me, so I should not be in office on the basis of majority.” I could have resigned as soon as the new government was formed, but some MLAs moved a no-confidence motion against me, which I did not like. He said, “Being in the position of chairman, I have done my duty with full determination.” I felt it was not right to leave the post without taking sides. He said, “The accusations of arbitrary and dictatorial rule against me are completely false.”

Vijay Sinha said, I have tried to take the house to the heights during my 20-month tenure. Whoever sits on this seat will work for the honor of all MLAs. The ruling party will look at the opposition party from one point of view. Vijay Sinha in his address said that whoever will sit in this seat will manage the work to increase the prestige of the MLAs of the opposition party and the ruling party. Vijay Sinha said that it is expected that there will be a healthy debate in the Assembly.
