Arvind Kejriwal

Arvind Kejriwal is an Indian politician, social activist, and the current Chief Minister of Delhi.

 .Born: August 16, 1968, in Siwani, Haryana, India.  . Education: Graduated in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in 1989.

Became a prominent figure in the anti-corruption movement led by Anna Hazare in 2011. This movement demanded the enactment of the Jan Lokpal Bill, an anti-corruption bill.

Founded the NGO 'Parivartan' which aimed to assist citizens in matters related to income tax, electricity, and food ration distribution in Delhi.

Played a significant role in the Right to Information movement in India, which led to the enactment of the RTI Act in 2005.

 In November 2012, Kejriwal formally launched the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), aimed at fighting corruption and promoting transparent governance.

AAP won a landslide victory in the 2015 Delhi Legislative Assembly elections, securing 67 out of 70 seats. Kejriwal became the Chief Minister again.

Emphasized reforms in the education sector, improving infrastructure and quality of education in Delhi government schools.
