Washington: The head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, has warned that the world should be prepared for the next pandemic, which could be more deadly than the Covid-19 pandemic. While the number of cases of corona virus infections around the world has remained somewhat stable. The WHO chief has raised the concern of the people by issuing this warning. Tedros Adhanom said, “Even though Covid-19 is over as a global health emergency, the threat of Covid-19 is not over.”

On the occasion of presenting his report at the 76th World Health Assembly, the WHO chief said that the next virus will infect many people. For this he needs an effective global system that will continue to address all kinds of emergencies. When the next epidemic approaches, we must be ready to fight it decisively and collectively.
