1 crore Rajasthani students sang patriotic song and made ‘world record’

Among the patriotic songs sung by the children were 'Bande Matarang', 'Janagan Maan', 'Sare Jahaun Se Achha' and 'Hum Honge Kamiyab'.

Jaipur: From 10.15 am to 10.45 am, crores of students of both government and private schools of the state together made a ‘world record’ sang national anthem, the government of Rajasthan said on Friday.

About 25,000 to 30,000 students participated in the singing of national anthem at SMS Stadium in Jaipur in the presence of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, State Education Minister and other government officials.

Among the many programs on the occasion of ‘Azadi Ka Omrit Mahotsab’ organized by the Department of Education and Arts and Culture, the students of all the schools participated directly and indirectly and sang patriotic songs together.

Among the patriotic songs sung by the children were ‘Bande Matarang’, ‘Janagan Maan’, ‘Sare Jahaun Se Achha’ and ‘Hum Honge Kamiyab’.

In the statement issued by the State Information Department, it is mentioned that on this occasion, the Vice-President of the World Book of Records gave a ‘provisional certificate’ to Chief Minister Gehlot.
