Big update on 8th pay commission; How much will the employee’s salary increase?
8th pay commission latest news : At present, the employees of various ministries working under the central government are getting salary as per the 7th pay commission.
So far the 7th Pay Commission has been constituted in the country while the previous 7th Pay Commission was implemented on 28 February 2014.
Till now the central employees are eagerly waiting for the 8th pay commission. Recent media reports say that the Central Government may soon gift the 8th Pay Commission to central employees in view of the Lok Sabha elections.
8th pay commission latest news : The salaries paid to the central employees are paid according to the Pay Commission. So, if the government brings in the 8th pay commission, then the amount received from employees’ salaries, dearness allowances and other types of allowances will increase. There are about 48.67 lakh central employees and 67.95 lakh pensioners under the government.
Pay Commissions implemented every 10 years- So far seven Pay Commissions have been implemented in the country. The first Pay Commission was constituted in January 1946.
That is, the 7th Pay Commission was constituted on 28 February 2014 and the recommendations of this commission were implemented in 2016. That is why, after 10 years, the central employees are now eagerly waiting for the 8th Pay Commission.
In fact, Finance Minister Pankaj Chaudhary in the Rajya Sabha said in response to a written question in the Rajya Sabha that the government has no proposal for the formation of the 8th Pay Commission.
8th pay commission latest news : The government has made its approach clear. In such a situation, there is hope for central employees that the government may give some special news regarding the 8th Pay Commission in view of the Lok Sabha elections. However, no significant update has come from the government.
