PM insulted India not me on foreign soil: Rahul Gandhi

London: The Prime Minister insulted India, not me, on foreign soil. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said this in an interview to the media. Rahul targeted the Modi government in a speech at Cambridge University in England. The BJP expressed displeasure over this and said that it has become Rahul’s habit to speak against India on foreign soil.

Responding to this, Rahul told the Indian Journalists Association in London, “I have never defamed my country. I have no interest in doing it and I never will. BJP is trying to convey my words wrongly to the people. The media is also giving different meaning to my words for TRP. But the fact is that the one who defames India when he goes abroad is the Prime Minister of India. “

He added, “Haven’t you heard his speech in which he said nothing has happened in India in 70 years?” By saying this, he has done the job of insulting every Indian, insulting every Indian parent and grandparent. While saying this, he forgot the people who took India forward in 10 years. So it is he, not me, who has humiliated India on foreign soil.”

Notably, while speaking at Cambridge University, Rahul said that the institutional framework necessary for Indian democracy has been disrupted and the basic structure of Indian democracy is under threat. The government has used Pegasus software to plot against me. I had Pegasus on my phone. Many politicians also had Pegasus on their phones. “I was told to be very careful while talking on the phone,” said Rahul.

Responding to this, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said, Pegasus is not in Rahul’s phone, it is in his brain. Rahul Gandhi has made it a habit to speak against India abroad. Rahul can’t stand the fact that the world has grown in respect for India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
