Actress Urmila Matondkar joins Rahul on ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’
Jammu: Actress and politician Urmila Matondkar has joined Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Jammu and Kashmir on the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The actress got involved shortly after the journey began at 8 am today from near Army Garrison Square.
For your information, actress Urmila resigned from the Congress party in September 2019 and joined the Shiv Sena in 2020.
Rahul entered Tapyal-Gagwal in Samba district after crossing the Londi Tankhi gate at 8 am yesterday. After traveling 25 km, the journey stopped at Chak Nanak tonight.
For your information, this journey started from Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu on 7th September last year. It crossed Punjab and entered Jammu and Kashmir last Thursday. It is expected to reach Srinagar on 30th. Rahul will hoist the national flag at the Congress office there. On the other hand, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said today in a program in Madhya Pradesh that Rahul Gandhi has defamed the country through the Bharat Jodo Yatra. He said that this trip is creating an atmosphere of hatred and mistrust in the country.
