New Delhi: Food delivery company Swiggy will charge a platform fee of Rs 2 from customers who pick up food. No matter how much food he buys, he has to pay this fee. Now this fee is imposed on customers from Bengaluru and Hyderabad. It may be implemented in other cities of the country in the coming days.
In this regard, the spokesperson of Swiggy said that the name ‘Platform Fee’ only. This will help us improve the platform and provide more features in the app. However, Swiggy’s main rival Zomato has not imposed any such fee. However, Zomato is keeping an eye on customer response to Swiggy’s platform fee.
