Revanth Reddy will take oath as the new CM of Telangana on December 7
Telangana CM : Congress leader Revanth Reddy is going to be the new Chief Minister of Telangana. He is likely to take oath as the new Chief Minister of the state on December 7 and some ministers will also take oath with him. The decision was taken unanimously at the CLP meeting held in Hyderabad and the final decision on the appointment of the Chief Minister was left to the party high command. The Congress High Command has selected Revanth Reddy as the new Chief Minister of Telangana.
Similarly, there are rumors that senior Congress leaders of Telangana, Uttam Kumar Reddy and Bhatti Vikramarka, may get the post of Deputy Chief Minister. Sources said that if the post of Deputy Chief Minister is not given then he will be made minister of important departments.
Telangana CM : 56-year-old Congress leader Revanth Reddy is currently a member of the Lok Sabha. In 2017, he left the Telugu Desam Party to join the Congress and became a popular figure in Telangana politics. He is well known among fellow politicians, party workers and people for his never-give-up attitude.
Telangana CM : In 2015, Revanth Reddy was arrested in the ‘cash-for-vote’ case and accused of being an ‘agent’ of TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, who was criticized by BRS leaders for switching parties. Revanth Reddy, who is Yuva Pradesh Congress chief, has been elected to the assembly from Kamareddy constituency, losing to BRS chief and former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
